General Aluminium Window & Door FAQs

Smart Home Aluminium Windows
-
Yes – we offer motorised window and louvre options that integrate with most smart home systems. Control ventilation, shading, or window opening with the touch of a button (or an app).
-
Smart windows give you:
Hands-free control (goodbye, awkward handles)
Scheduled ventilation and automated shading
Improved energy efficiency and comfort
A nice bit of tech bragging rights, if we’re honest
Double Glazing FAQs
-
Definitely. Bunbury and surrounds get hot summers and cool winters, so double glazing helps regulate temperature, reduces your reliance on heating/cooling, and cuts down on outside noise.
-
Low-E glass reflects heat back into your home, keeping you warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
Argon-filled units use an insulating gas between the glass panes to slow heat transfer.
For best results, we often combine both.
Security & Bushfire Safety FAQs
-
Yes. We supply and install bushfire-compliant security screens (including Amplimesh SupaScreen® and IntrudaGuard®) that meet various BAL levels, including BAL-40.
-
We offer window and door systems that meet BAL-12.5 to BAL-40 requirements. If you're building in a bushfire-prone zone, we’ll recommend the right products to meet code and keep your home safe
Product-Specific FAQs
-
Bi-fold doors fold back neatly in panels, opening up large areas for air and light. They’re perfect for indoor-outdoor flow and can be configured with flyscreens or security screens for extra airflow control.
-
Yes. Louvre windows are ideal for bathrooms, laundries, and kitchens – anywhere you want fast ventilation. We use toughened or frosted glass and aluminium frames that won’t rust or swell.

-
We sure do. We can remove and replace tired old windows and doors with modern, energy-efficient aluminium systems. We’ll make sure the new install suits your space and complies with current building codes.

Timeframes depend on the size of the job, but most residential window and door installs take between 1–3 days. We’ll give you a clear timeline with your quote – no vague promises.
